Our Mission

The purpose of the National Energy Rater Association (NERA) is to promote energy conservation, consumer satisfaction, rater technical proficiency, peer support and ethical standards. NERA supports the rights and responsibilities of independent energy raters to govern their businesses with honesty and integrity for the good of home-owners by providing property value adding services that primarily assures healthy, safe, durable, and comfortable living environments.
