2.  Type of Membership and Membership Requirements

o Full member                      $100 per year

o Associate member             $500 per year

o Organizational member      $500 per year

Applicants are evaluated for membership according NERA Bylaws.  

Full Membership in NERA is limited to individuals involved in the commercial, academic 
or governmental application of energy ratings.

An applicant shall be eligible for membership according to the following criteria.

(a) Applicant must be actively engaged in the field of energy ratings

(b) Applicant must be financially sound and have a good business reputation.

(c) If required by the jurisdiction in which the Applicant engages in the field of energy ratings, 
the Applicant must be certified as an energy rater by the appropriate authority.

An individual who has an ancillary interest in energy ratings, 
but who does not qualify as a member, may join as an Associate Member. 
The rights and privileges of the Associate Member are limited to non-voting participation on committees, 
participation at Association meetings at full-member rates, and receipt of normal communications of the Association.

An organization which has an ancillary interest in energy ratings may join as an Organizational Member.  
The rights and privileges of the Organizational Member are limited to non-voting participation on committees, 
participation at Association meetings at full-member rates, and receipt of normal communications of the Association.
